all the feels

It's been 5 months since I've put out a mix and I'll be honest, I've been stuck in a creative rut and busy DJing ((305 Fitness)) classes. 

On the heels of a year of being married and becoming a DJ, I decided to showcase songs that articulate how I've felt this past year and songs I hope to create someday.

Enter: 'all the feels' - a soundboard / curation / inspiration of songs I just really 'feel'. With this series, I hope to attract a tribe of people down to start a project around making songs that have a similar vibe. 

Shout out to some of my key inspirations for this mix:
- anderson paak aka breezy lovejoy because he just continues to reinvent himself, but staying true to his sound.
- benzel for masquerading behind 2 japanese girls, and making me a huge fan only to find out they're 2 white dudes that live in NY that don't understand that I'm just waiting for their album to come out already.
- sosupersam not just cuz we're bffs and she just doesn't know it yet, but because she's out there doing everything I hope to accomplish one day. 
- ta-ku because not only is he a talented producer, but he's a damn sexy sounding soulful ass singer.
- abhi//dijon because their music is everything and I want to sing on a track with dijon one day.
- alex isley because the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and her voice is like butter.
- NAO because lyrically and melodically she just kills it.
- dvsn because they just 'get me' even though they don't know me... yet.
